Cadillac UK sets equal pricing for BLS sedan or wagon

At the Frankfurt Motor Show this past September, Cadillac unveiled the BLS estate, the company's first wagon. The Euro-only Caddy, which slots into the line-up below the CTS, is based on the Saab 9-3 and takes on its wagon bodystyle in addition to a sedan. Cadillac's British operation has released its pricing scheme for the latest BLS, and intriguingly set the base MSRP at the exact same level as the sedan.
For £21,495, British customers can choose the BLS sedan or 'estate' wagon, with either a gasoline or diesel base engine, beyond which Cadillac is offering an additional three engine options for the sedan or five for the wagon, including a new 180-hp turbodiesel and Saab's 200-hp Biopower ethanol engine, relabeled for the Caddy as Flexpower. No matter the engine or bodystyle choice, the BLS comes fully equipped with Elegance remaining as the only trim level and only metallic paint (£500) and sunroof (£650) as optional equipment.

YES! 3.2 Roadster is coming to North America

There's plenty of forbidden fruit that our friends abroad get to enjoy, but of all the vehicles we thought had a shot here in the States, the YES! 3.2 Roadster wasn't one of them. That's all going to change this February when Funke & Will AG will display the lightweight cabrio on the show floor in Chicago.
The YES! 3.2 Roadster comes in two flavors, both sporting a (you guessed it) 3.2-liter V6. The first is a naturally aspirated variant that produces 255 hp and can reach 60 in just under five seconds, while the other benefits from a turbocharger that huffs and puffs the same six to 355 hp and drops the sprint to 60 to 3.8 seconds. Owners can supposedly upgrade that same mill to produce 415 hp and propel the one-ton convertible up to a theoretical top speed of 200 mph.
Both cars can be outfitted with a variety of amenities, from heated seats to sat nav, and if all goes according to plan, a select group of dealers are being amassed to service the newest entrant into the sports car fray when it goes on sale in the U.S. and Canada later this year.

Vantastic: Hartmann-tuned Mercedes-Benz Sprinter SP5

The bulk of the Mercedes-Benz range gets alphanumeric designations. One of the few exceptions is the utility van which, versatile though it is, is not the first vehicle that would otherwise spring to mind in association with the name Sprinter. Duesseldorf-based tuning house Hartmann is doing its part to rectify that, however, with its new SP5 package.
The kit features an aero body kit with sportier front bumper, grille, side sills and rear apron, a new exhaust system with twin tailpipes, and though they don't look it in relation to the towering height of the vehicle itself, the wheels have been upgraded to 19' alloys with 255/55 R19 tires. Hartmann also does its magic in the cabin as well, with dash kits in wood or carbon fiber and chrome trim. Hartmann says its van conversion would make a good platform for a mobile office, promotional vehicle or delivery van for 'exclusive products', and offers an array of engine mods depending on the stock powertrain chosen to make it more, you know... sprinty. Don't expect to see a brown one delivering your UPS packages anytime soon, though.

Chicago '08 Preview: Suzuki Equator shown in Truck Trend
Truck Trend is quickly becoming a thorn in the side of a couple automakers, first by spilling the beans about the 2009 HUMMER H3T in its March/April issue, and now by revealing details about the new Suzuki Equator in the same issue. The rebadged Nissan Frontier is set to make its official debut next week at the Chicago Auto Show, and the illustration provided by Truck Trend is apparently a dead-ringer for the production model. We'll have to wait until next week for all the details, but Jalopnik was kind enough to post a scan of the yet-to-be-released pickup. You're looking at it.
